Starfleet Hourglass Nebula was found on Star Date 88700.94
The Hourglass Nebula is a young fleet found on star date 88700.94. The fleet was names after the Hourglass Nebula (also known as MyCn 18) it’s a young planetary nebula situated in the southern constellation Musca about 8,000 light-years away from Earth. The Fleet was commissioned under the command of Admiral Dave. Just like the Nebula was found by Annie Jump Cannon and Margaret W, Mayall during their work on an extended Henry Draper Catalogue during 1918 to 1924. The Admiral seen that there was a need for a fleet to take on the upcoming threats to the Federation. With the War with the Klingons and new threats from the Borg and an unstable Romulan Empire, and the looming True-way forces threats to Deep Space 9. Admiral chose to name the fleet after the Hourglass Nebula based on the faceted the fleet has a wide verity of ships from star fleets past to it future ships in its fleet, as a measurement of time.
